I absolutely loved this elegant and classic dress – and was absolutely thrilled to have so many people tell me that it was their favourite dress they’ve ever seen a bride wear.

It’s incredibly flattering and really shows off your figure (my husband was definitely a fan).

THE DRESS:
** The St Patrick MELIA gown features a keyhole back (one of my favourite features), a flattering v-neckline, delicately embroidered capped sleeves and buttons down the back.
** There is also a diagonal seamline running from under the bust down to the hip where it meets up with a seamline along the waist. This was an incredibly flattering feature and really sold me on the dress!
** The dress is crepe, and it is light and very easy to move about in.
** Bust cups came with the dress, so no need to get them added.

ALTERATIONS:
** I had this dress altered to fit, bringing the waist and hips in, as well as a small alteration at the back of the neck where the dress fastens with hook and eye shoulders to fit my frame.
** The dress was also shortened to fit - I am normally 168cm and wore 7.5cm heels.
** A bustle was added and I also had about 20cm taken off the train as it was very long.

** Professionally dry cleaned and as good as new (dress comes with bag and dry-cleaning certificate).
