THE DRESS
Beautiful and contemporary Quinn fishtail style dress from Baccini and Hill. Custom made-to-measure dress (Angela Baccini altered the bust and made a longer train for me from their standard Quinn design)

Baccini and Hill say this is: A figure hugging fishtail silhouette with sweetheart neckline in an art deco inspired embroidered organza design.

I say: The organza lace is designed to look like mermaid or fish scales, reminiscent of couture house J'Aton. Highly structured with heavy fabric, the dress hides lumpy bits whilst being very fitted, and gives you a fantastic hourglass figure. The dress is scalloped around the bottom of the train, with the organza lace longer than the silk underneath to truly show off the design. The neckline is trimmed in the lace as well, to give it a softer line in the finish. There is a seam just above the waist, and just above the knee (where the dress kicks out) Hidden zip up the back, and hidden buttons to pin the train up.

THE BELT
I am also including the belt that I had custom made to go with this dress! It is a stunning Swarovski crystal, freshwater pearl and beaded belt, which sits just above the waist. The belt is a structured shape (it's not soft, it's sort of rigid and moulds to your body - gives a fantastic pulled in silhouette!) and it has two metal clasps to do it up at the back, with the beading and crystals going all the way around.

MEASURMENTS
I'm a size 14, and 5'10. In these photos I'm wearing 4 (10cm) heels.
My bust goes between a 12D and 14DD depending on the bra I'm wearing.
The belt is 88cm or 35in around, and sits firmly just above the waist.
The train is 1-1.5 metres long

THE DEAL
The dress cost me $5400, and the belt $700 - so you are getting an amazing deal! It's also been professionally dry-cleaned recently by a bridal specialist, and it has come back perfectly. No marks, no stains, the dress is as new. I wore this dress once to my wedding a couple of months ago, and I hope you have as much fun in it as I did!
