How Madeleine sold
Madeleine sold her dress to help pay for the arrival of their new baby.
What was your motivation for selling your wedding dress?
I loved my dress so much, I still do, and it just didn’t seem right for it to be hanging in the cupboard untouched, possibly for years.
Describe your experience with Stillwhite
I hadn’t had the dress listed for long when I was contacted by a buyer, we exchanged a few messages and I provided my measurements, the buyer had almost the exact same measurements as me, it was meant to be! The process was seamless and so easy and safe. Payment was made and I posted the dress with tracking and insurance.
Did you feel safe selling?
Absolutely, I am a big fan of online shopping and selling. I had 100% confidence in Stillwhite.
How do you feel about another bride wearing your dress?
I was so happy my dress was going to get a second run and after chatting with the buyer, I knew she loved the dress as much as I did, and I was so sure it would make her wedding day as special as it made mine.
What are you spending your sale on?
With our first baby on the way shortly after our wedding the money went toward a lot of baby related expenses.
Any tips and advice for future brides?
The Stillwhite concept is such a great idea. I knew exactly which dress I wanted and kept my eye on the Stillwhite website, most dresses on the website have been worn for mere hours, they are in pristine condition and have been dry cleaned professionally. Why not give a dress another life and save yourself some money?
