Because there was a long time between listing and selling, I forgot most of what I read initially about the process. While exchanging chat messages with the buyer (also new to the process), I tried to finalize the sale. It wasn't intuitively obvious how to do that. For example, as a seller, I wouldn't think to click a button that says "Make offer," which is what I needed to do to complete the sale. More obvious interface options would help. But we figured it out.

I gave Stillwhite 5 stars because when I finally purchased a dress, the experience was what I believe was the ultimate purpose and goal of this site. But it took me over a year and trying to buy 4 different dresses from 4 different sellers before I was successful. The first seller told me it would be too difficult for her to ship her dress to my location as we were in different countries. Sellers two and three stopped communicating completely. Which was very disappointing after having looked at thousands of dresses (literally), to finally finding one, and then to have two consecutive sellers stop responding completely. I honestly started to believe that all the red "sold" notifications (posted on dresses that sell) were fake and being used as ploy by the site. But the 4th and final seller was quick to respond and the transaction was smooth and seamless. She was forthcoming with information about the dress as well as with pictures/videos. I would recommend the site, but I would give yourself ample time to find your perfect dress. And realize that the sellers are people and that you may run into issues that come with dealing with people.

Really difficult experience here. I cannot recommend this platform, especially for international orders. I ordered a dress from a seller in Germany. After several weeks and multiple failed attempts to clear customs, the seller decided she was unable to get the dress to me and would need to provide a refund. I don't fault the seller for this; there seems to have been a complete lack of seller support from Stillwhite. If Stillwhite is prepared to broker international transactions, they should provide sellers with all of the required information to successfully ship internationally. The refund process is horrible. We both have somehow lost $90 on Paypal "fees" and are still not settled. I cannot recommend Stillwhite unless you're able to connect with your seller in person to pick up, as refunds for shipments that never arrive are hellacious to resolve and there is zero customer support.
