About the Dress

This wedding dress is a custom “Poppy” from NYC designer Kelly Faetanini. I bought this dress for $4,502 in early 2023 before she released the Eternal collection (with plans for a late summer 2024 wedding). It is unaltered (size 12 to allow for tailoring) and has never been worn (we ultimately decided our courthouse wedding - we're an international couple so we did a legal wedding first - was enough when our dream venue wasn't available until winter 2025 and bought a house instead of doing the big wedding as well). This is a crepe fit-to-flare gown with three dimensional lace appliqué, plunging V neckline, illusion front cutout, double spaghetti straps at back, and tulle and lace godet train. The only difference between the finished dress (which I have never seen because we decided to cancel our plans before it was delivered to the bridal boutique) and the photos shown is that I had the buttons down the back stop just as the fabric drops off (below my butt), rather than carry on to the end of the train (as shown in the photos) and some extra length added to the straps - can maybe ask the boutique to take some new photos as they are holding the dress for me still. I love this dress so much, it's even more stunning in person than the photos do justice to, but I simply have no need for it now. Hoping I can find a bride who will give it the wedding day spotlight it deserves.
