Luxurious Ruched Gown with Delicate Beaded Waist

The dress was custom-made. It has a sweetheart neckline, Swarovski crystal band (approximately 3 inches wide) that falls just underneath the bust all the way around the dress.

No blemishes or stains! the preservation company did an amazing job!

I loved this dress because after trying on what felt like a million dresses that didn't give me "that" feeling I tried this on and FELT like a bride! The ruching around the midsection and continued throughout the dress made me feel less conscious about my tummy (even though my wedding was when I was the smallest in my life!) I still felt self-conscious in other fit-n-flare style dresses... but NOT this one. I felt like a princess. I even added on to the train - originally it was 3 feet long and I added another 3 feet because - DRAMA!!!

I chose an off-white cream color because pure white satin tends to look blue in the harsh light of the camera. It was a very nice compliment to my olive skin.

The original sizing of the dress was actually closer to a 14 in wedding dress size but I customized it for my body at the time. It is probably closer to an 8-10 in wedding dress sizes now.

I was really self-conscious about having a strapless dress because my chest is larger but because of the style of the bust, it actually complimented my body quite well - while also having a TON of support because I had extra boning put in to support the girls. I did not have to wear any kind of shapewear or bra with this dress which was a BONUS after dancing all night!
