The perfect dress for my small civil ceremony in June 2018. It was only worn for a few hours, a few days before my main wedding in Portugal (dress also for sale. This is the Annika dress from Alexandra Grecco's ready to wear range, purchased in January 2018, and is now sold out.

I had it shipped from America as couldn't find anything I liked nearly as much in the UK.

It's a demure 50's shape boat neck dress at the front, but all the drama is in the open back. The skirt is beautiful and full - I'm a pear shape and it was no problem on my hips whatsoever. Oh, and it has POCKETS! I wore a backless silicon bra with the dress and it worked a treat, but you could go bra-less/get cups put in.

Original measurements were:

Size 6 - 35" bust, 28" waist, free on the hip

The only alteration I had done was to have the bodice shortened slightly - it now measures 16.5” from the shoulder to waist.

I had the dress dry cleaned the day after the wedding in June 2018 and it looks as good as new. No flaws that I can see.

Some of the stitching is unfinished on the inside where alterations have been made, to enable further alterations to be made easily. These do not show when the dress is on.
