The Dress
It was love at first sight when I laid my eyes on this Maggie Sottero “Bexley” dress. It was picture perfect for my Maui beach wedding, but it also has a great boho feel.
The dress is an ivory color over light gold underlay. Maggie’s website describes it as “Modern and romantic, this lace sheath wedding dress with spaghetti straps and v-neckline highlighted with opal beads is unforgettably feminine and chic. Finished with illusion lace halter back and covered buttons over zipper closure.”
I had it altered to wear with flat sandals on the beach. I am 5’4”, 180 lbs, with a 38D bust.
This dress was altered in the bust, eye hooks were placed in back for extra support, shortened hem, and a French bustle was added.
