From the moment I set eyes on the Jenny Packham 'Aspen' dress online from the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, I knew this was going to be my wedding dress and it didn't disappoint!

Purchased from Le Lourve, in South Yarra Melbourne, this is a vintage style dress with modern touches, perfect for our garden wedding. It was so comfortable to wear and I felt absolutely amazing in the dress. I'm really sad to part with it, but I hope that someone will be able to wear such a beautiful dress at their wedding.

It has an amazing chantilly lace back, lace cap sleeves and lace detailing in the bodice. The jewelled sash is sewn into the dress and intricate detailing. It has a short train and I had a loop added to allow me to walk around.

It is a Jenny Packham size UK10 which is a size AU8. It was professionally dry-cleaned two days after the wedding and stored in a wedding dress box. I had it slightly altered at the hem (taken up by 3cm) by a master seamstress at Le Lourve, but no other alterations. I am 170cm tall and wore 4-inch wedge heels.

Princess Kate Middleton wore a turquoise version of this dress to an event in London.
