The Mikado silk fabric offers a lightweight structure and a soft lustre is incredibly flattering to both pale and more sallow skin. The removable crop top means that this dress offers two different looks – and it photographs beautifully.

The dress itself is strapless Mikado silk, with a low back, tulip skirt and bow and is accompanied by a removable short trapeze-cut top with straps.

This dress is from Jesus Peiro’s current Mirtilli Collection (https://www.jesuspeiro.com/en/vestido-novia/7040/), which includes a range of separate pieces such as delicate crop tops, designed to be worn over dresses and then removed easily later in the day to create a contrasting look.

All Jesus Peiro dresses are designed and manufactured entirely in Spain, creating collections where the quality of the finish, close to that of haute couture, is the keynote. Jesus Peiro collections are presented annually at Barcelona Bridal Week, as well as international fairs such as The White Gallery in London and at New York International Bridal Week.

This is a really unique and flattering dress for a bride who's looking for something a little bit different. It is in impeccable condition and was dry cleaned by a specialist wedding dress dry cleaner within 3 days of being worn.

A satin trim, single tier veil, is also available for purchase if interested – it’s a gorgeous accompaniment to the dress and matches it beautifully.

As Jesus Peiro dresses can be sized to match as closely as possible to the bride, this dress was ordered in a size 10 top and size 12 bottom (UK sizes). It was subsequently altered by a specialist seamstress to the following measurements:
Bust: 78cm (31 inches)
Waist: 66cm (26 inches)
Skirt length from waist: 111cm (44 inches)
From waist to highest point of dress: 26cm (10 inches)
The bride was a size 10, 5'6 and wore 2 inch heels on the day.
