This stunning Hand beaded French Lace Collette Dinnigan gown is from her current 2012 collection and is in brand new unworn mint condition. It has shoestring straps and plunging back and skims the body in a flattering sheath style. It is a size XS and runs true to size. (AU size 8 USA 4,FRANCE 36, Italy 40) , however due to the bare back it can accommodate from a small to a medium bust. The tiny glass beads cover the dress in intricate detail and the weight of the fabric make the dress hang beautifully . The lining is 100% silk and it really is a princess gown that would be stunning for either a wedding or a formal dress occasion..
I bought the gown from the South Yarra store in July and it was delivered by their courier to the Woollahra store for me to collect.
Small alterations (I paid an additional $438 for these..dockets avail ) were done by the C.D recommended dressmaker in Mosman , Emergency Button, including turning & hand stitching the hem to shorten as its very long (I'm 170cm and was going to wear medium heels (this could easily be made shorter still or undone to lengthen, small bust pads sewn in to lining to boost the cup (I'm a small B size) and the shoestring straps were slightly shortened . I also had an attachable train skirt designed from stunning handmade lace fabric but this wasn't completed as I didn't wear the dress (I am the ultimate indecisive bride and actually bought 3 dresses!!) and this could be either worn as skirt/train or veil. (I paid over $2000 for fabric and dressmaking but this is separate and negotiable ). The dress is in the original fabric dress cover as received from the Collette Dinnigan boutique and is truly beautiful and you will save over $900 on a new current designer limited edition gown!
