Alterations

  • I paid $250 in alterations when I purchased the dress
  • The bust was taken in at the back slightly and white cups were sewn into the bust
  • These can likely be removed if you wish
  • It was also taken in around mid-thigh at the back to flatter the silhouette and to create more of a mermaid style
  • Finally, a loop and button bustle was added to the back of the dress

About the Dress

This beautiful Paraezo Christy wedding gown has an elegant sweetheart, strapless neckline and a lovely mermaid silhouette. It has a lace overlay intricately designed with embroidered appliqués and covered in clear sequins (which add just the right amount of sparkle without being over the top!). The train is long and features a scalloped hem. The train can also be bustled in the back by loop and button or, if you prefer, a wrist loop to carry the train for the reception. It has one zipper closure at the back.

A little about me: Bust 34 inches Waist 29 inches Hips 40 1/2 inches
I am 5'5", 130 pounds and wore the dress with 1 1/2 inch heels. I also changed into slippers on the dance floor. The gown was easy to dance in especially with it bustled in the back.

This gown has only been worn once and is in very good condition! I had it dry cleaned after the wedding however it has been tried on by a few hopeful brides since then. As a result, there are minor areas of the underlayers that are a bit off-white (you wouldn't be able to see this and neither would anyone else!). In my opinion, there is no need to dry clean again as it looks pretty pristine as is.

I am looking to sell directly online and will include a garment bag as well when shipped.

This was the first dress I tried on and absolutely fell in love with it! I hope you will too!
