About the Dress

This River dress by Danielle Frankel, purchased new from Danielle Frankel showroom in NYC in 2025. Strapless silk wool bias cut gown. Asymmetric drape wraps gracefully across neck and shoulders falling into a cowl neck scarf drape detail at los back, drape is removable with hidden covered buttons on bodice. Boned internal bustier with soft cups, internal grosgrain waist belt and invisible side zip closure. This dress was originally a Size 4 but altered to be a street size 2 in most dresses. Could even fit a street size 0. The size 4 was taken in around the ribs and bust. The train was altered to be shorter (see photo); I am 5’5 and wore 2.0 inch heels. I purchased this dress on Stillwhite and modified it to fit me, a street size 2 but just decided to go with a high neck option last second. I would say that the bust is a little snug for a street size 2 at 31” with a 26” waist, which is why I believe it could also fit a Danielle Frankel Size 0/XS due to the natural fit of the gown. Near perfect condition. There are small marks at bottom hem but dry cleaners have done a nice job of getting majority of the marks out. Please note that due to the type of fabric there are small pulls that are only really visible if the fabric is pulled taught. I tried to show these in the photos but they are honestly very small so hard to document. Absolutely stunning dress that shines in person due to its pearl color, the pictures really cannot do it justice!
