About the Dress

I’m finally parting with my beautiful Esme by Jenny Packham. I’m a boy mum, so realistically she’s not waiting around to be handed down 😂 and this dress is far too beautiful to spend the rest of her life in a box.

I wore her for my wedding in 2013 and honestly, the design has barely aged. It’s still such a timeless, beautiful dress.

The sheath silhouette skims rather than clings, with a boat neckline, delicate capped sleeves and gorgeous keyhole back. The beading is incredible - subtle, vintage-inspired sparkle that catches the light without ever feeling overdone.

Most importantly: it is SO comfortable to wear. I felt glamorous but completely like myself, and happily wore it from the ceremony right through to the dance floor.

It’s a size 14 and comes with the sash and headpiece, which work beautifully with the dress.

Full disclosure: there is a small area of damage to the train where someone’s heel got caught in it on the dance floor -evidence of a very good wedding 😂 It should be an easy repair for a seamstress, and otherwise the dress is in beautiful condition.

I absolutely adored wearing this dress. I’d love to see it out of its box and getting another very excellent wedding day. ❤️
