About the Dress

This timeless Alessandra gown is made of luxurious mikado in a soft white. The fabric has a lovely weight and structure and drapes beautifully. It's elegant and sculptural without feeling heavy, so it suits a wedding in any season.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned, had no marks or stains and is ready to wear. It remains exactly as the designer made it, with no alterations to its original look. I added one discreet upgrade: an internal waist stay that keeps the bodice perfectly in place. Even with a fuller bust, it never shifts or slouches. I didn't need to adjust it once all day.

The dress is currently in Canada but can also easily be shipped from Seattle where I often work.

Optional one-of-a-kind accents (+$600)
For our wedding in France, I commissioned custom removable pieces in a blue-grey silk. They're completely unique and add a little more coverage over the bust and the back lacing. As the video shows, they attach invisibly. Without them, the gown remains as originally designed with no alterations required. However, if like me you love a touch of blue, they add a distinctive heirloom detail. They're offered as an optional add-on with the purchase of the dress. I spent over $1,500 having them created, however am happy to include them for $600.

The top of your waist above your hip bone is wear you should measure for this dress. I was 29 inches and felt comfortable.

As you can see in the photos, I also have a second dress available. It has never been worn, and I'm happy to share my wedding photos as proof as well as a video. I had it made for a civil ceremony but ended up not using it. It has a beautiful bustle option for the train (shown in one of the images). Message me if you'd like to learn more about this dress.
