Alterations

  • Hem shortened to suit my height- Floor length with heels (I am 173cm and my heels were 9cm high), bust cups added (would fit most people and would be easy to remove as well), bustle added (which can help keep it off the ground after the ceremony), small extra hidden clip added in back to help with pulling it in firmly (doesn’t change size just helped with buttons), no alterations to waist etc so will be true to sample size

About the Dress

Selling my Laiya by Madi Lane wedding dress. It was perfect for my day and I’ll be sad to part with it, but excited that it could make someone else’s day rather than sit in a cupboard. This ivory A-line silhouette is incredibly flattering and also comfortable, it would also fit a lot of builds as you really just need to fit the bust and waist :) there was still some room in it, particularly the bust.

It has a floor-length skirt that moves beautifully and feels light enough to enjoy all day. The embroidery and subtle sequins catch the light which I loved and all of my guests commented on the small sparkle as I went down the aisle after the ceremony. I loved the elegant boat neckline, low back, and the option of detachable sleeves, I didn’t actually use the sleeves in the end but was great to have the option.

I loved this dress and all the leafy details and am excited for someone else to enjoy it too! Alterations done were very minimal and don’t affect the sizing at all.

There are a few dress variations but mine was ML25110LN (front bodice lined). I can send a video of the back on request, couldn’t load it here.
