Elly Sofocli, Ophelia Ballgown

An incredible couture wedding gown by Australian designer Elly Sofoclí. This is the Ophelia Ballgown, crafted in natural silk taffeta with a dramatic sculptural silhouette and a custom tulle puff.

The gown was worn only once for a photoshoot (shown here, with the model's face altered by AI) and was never worn for a wedding, ceremony, reception, or full event. It is in beautiful condition and has seen exceptionally little wear. It has been cleaned by Chicago's premier wedding dress cleaning, repair, and restoration service (a $400 value).

The Ophelia features a structured strapless bodice with a curved/shallow sweetheart neckline, low buttoned back, extraordinarily full ballgown skirt, and sweeping train. The natural silk taffeta gives the gown its beautiful structure and volume, while the custom extra tulle puff adds an especially romantic, editorial element.
