Gorgeous gown from KYHA Studios (Australian designer). Was absolutely perfect for my wedding day. Hard to part with her, but she'll do no good sitting in storage! I loved this dress so much - its giving classic bridal with a touch of architectural with all the structure and draping. It looks super expensive & high quality in person as well with a subtle shine without being thin & clingy like satin.
From the designer:
Your search for the ultimate sartorial statement ends with Evans. A lesson in the art of draping, Evans features a structured, scoop neck bodice with directional draping and a draped column-meets-ballgown skirt. Evans' sculptural aesthetic cuts a close silhouette thanks to its lace up closure. Crafted from luxe and luminous duchess satin, Evans will prove to be an enduring masterpiece for the best-dressed set.
Sizing:
This dress is an AUS size 3. Stillwhite would only allow me to select AUS 2 or 4. However, I think this dress could fit anyone from size AUS 2-4 (US size 0-4) given its a lace up corset and can be tightened or loosened a bit to fit you perfectly. When I first picked the dress I was about 120 lbs, US size 2 and was laced up fairly tight, and by the time I got married I was about 110 lbs, US size 0 and didn't need alterations and could just lace it up even tighter. I also have pretty small boobs, 34B at time of purchase and probably 32A in the wedding photos. I used boombas and laced the dress up tight and it looked amazing.
Alterations:
I am 5'3 and wore 4" heels, so I got the dress hemmed for that height. If you're planning to wear heels, keep that in mind. I paid to have a bustle installed as well, which is very straight-forward. Note getting a bustle installed is expensive & absolutely necessary if you're going to dance in your dress. If you buy this dress brand new there will not be a bustle installed, which can add anywhere from $500 to $1500 depending on the level of quality. After purchase, I can send you an in-depth video my seamstress made which has a bustle tutorial for this specific dress.
Condition:
Near perfect condition. I paid $900 to have it professionally cleaned. The only portions of the dress that have some slight discoloration are on the underskirt, near where the dress dragged on the ground. If you look at the photos, the very last one shows those areas.
Price:
I originally paid full price for this dress, which is about $7,000 after taxes. I then put another $1,000 into high quality alterations and bustle installation, and then another $900 for high quality cleaning to make sure the fabric stayed in perfect condition. All in all I spent just under $9,000 on this dress and it looks virtually perfect. I'm asking for $3,700 so another bride can enjoy this incredible dress, for a fraction of the price!
