Purchased from the Fall Bride in London, I wore this beautiful Cortana Lirio gown once for my wedding in Italy in July 2026 and absolutely loved it. I was incredibly comfortable and received so many compliments. The dress is cut on thr bias from 3 separate layers of Italian silk georgette, which allows it to drape beautifully over the body without feeling fitted or restrictive. One of my favourite things about it is how versatile it is. I changed how I wore the soles throughout the evening which made the dress feel different at different parts of the celebration and gave me a lovely variety of photographs. It’s a timeless dress and I think it would work beautifully for either a summer or winter wedding.

- There is a very small amount of faint marking at the very bottom of the dress from wear, and the teeniest tiniest hole, but it is not visible when the dress is being worn

Alterations
- The dress was professionally shortened by a London tailor recommended by The Fall Bride
- I am 162.5 cm tall and wore 8 cm heels and had it shortened accordingly
- I also had beautifully discreet bustles added:
- Each of the two long stoles can be bustled at the back using hidden loops and small, elegant buttons
- A central bustle was added for the second and third layers of the skirt
- Please note that the outermost silk layer does not currently have a bustle
- The alterations cost £500 in total
