My wedding day was wet for an hour or two so the underskirt has a few marks from walking on the grass. This is only on the underskirt and is not visible otherwise. The dress has been dry cleaned and all visible areas of the dress itself are in great condition. Specific details of the marks:
- mud marks on the underskirt (these cannot be seen when worn!) They are inside the inner underskirt.
- a couple of the buttons at the bottom have some brown marks but can easily be replaced.
Alterations:
- sample size dress was labelled 14 but altered to fit approx size 8- I am just over 5 foot and wore 9 cm heels
- bow removed from waist belt- now just plain
- shortened the shoulders
Condition
- Used - Obvious flaws or wear
- Dry cleaned
- It rained on my wedding days so the under skirt has some marks from mud
- However, this is not visible when the dress is on
- The visible outer layers of the dress are in good condition! There are just a couple of buttons with a slight mark but this is not noticeable or could be replaced
Alterations
- Hem shortened - I am petite (5 foot 1) and wore 9cm heels
- Straps - shortened
- The dress was around size 14 sample
- Size when purchased but altered to fit around size 8
