- These include very faint marks on a few buttons that remained after cleaning, a very faint mark on one of the train tails, and a tiny pinprick on the internal lining where a safety pin held my “something blue.” The pinprick is on the inner lining only and does not go through to the front of the dress
- All imperfections are minimal and not noticeable unless closely inspected
Alterations
- Corset/bodice professionally taken in
- Front hem shortened to suit my height (approximately 164 cm with shoes)
- Skirt professionally let out slightly at the hips for additional comfort, resulting in an approximate hip measurement of 96.5 cm (38 inches)
- No alterations were made to the train—the original train length was retained
- An additional internal clip was added to the train/bustle for extra security when fastened
- This did not alter the length or proportions of the dress
