This Claire by Emily May Couture is the perfect mix of classic bridal elegance and modern drama. I felt absolutely beautiful wearing it, and the structured white Mikado fabric gives it such a luxurious feel while still being comfortable and easy to move in.
Selling the statement 5m Elinda Scarf from Emily May as the perfect accessory to the dress. The scarf is a silk and feels amazing on the skin and matches the dress perfectly. Originally purchased for $335.
I changed the fabric from a pattern fabric to the Mikado white for added elegance but no other alterations were made other than the addition of a bustle.
The A-line silhouette is incredibly flattering, with a clean straight neckline and strapless bodice that feels timeless. The beading adds just the right amount of interest to the back of the dress, while the high slit gives it a fun, contemporary edge. And yes, it has pockets, which I loved on the day.
It’s a size 16, I would say I naturally fit into a size 14 typically. It was dry cleaned by Syndall’s bridal in Armadale and they truly brought it back to brand new.
This dress made me feel confident, elegant, and completely myself, and I would love for another bride to have that same experience in it.
