The Amsale Charleston is the definition of timeless, understated elegance. Purchased from Lelite Bridal in Boston, this gown was worn for one wedding and has been professionally dry cleaned, ready for its next bride. This dress was thoughtfully customized to make an already stunning design even more flattering: * The pointed tips of the original strapless neckline were softened by lowering them slightly, creating a more romantic and universally flattering shape. * A thin belt, crafted from the matching silk Radzimir fabric, was added to beautifully define the waist and provide the perfect finishing touch. * One layer of tulle removed from the skirt to create a softer, less voluminous silhouette while maintaining the gown’s A-Line shape. The structured silk Radzimir fabric feels incredibly soft and luxurious . Although it features a full A-line skirt, it feels much lighter than it looks—I danced comfortably all night without ever wishing I’d brought a reception dress. Unlike many gowns with decorative button closures, this dress has a hidden zipper beneath the covered buttons, so it’s incredibly easy to get into without fastening dozens of buttons. The train also bustles with a single button, making the transition from ceremony to reception quick and effortless. It also has pockets! The gown photographs beautifully, and I received so many compliments. I continue to love how timeless it lnooks in our wedding photos. The only noticeable wear is minor wear along the hem of the dress (pictured), which is not visible when worn. There are some light storage wrinkles, but it has been stored carefully since cleaning and those will come out very easily when steamed.
