About the Dress

I wore this Maggie Sottero dress for my wedding in Spring 2025. I fell in love with the corset back design because I really wanted a romantic detail for my ceremony look, and the corset design also saved me from having to get any alterations since the corset could be tightened on its own. Furthermore, I have an athletic/hourglass body shape (wide shoulders, short torso + long legs) so the drop waist design was a MUST for me to help visually elongate my waist area.

The cat-eye neckline paired with the straight lines on the bodice was also very flattering for me because I have a wider bust area that I wanted to visually hide.

I only wore this dress for 2 hours (first look + photos, 30 min ceremony, post-ceremony photos), and immediately got the dress professional dry-cleaned and stored in a climate-controlled storage room the next day.

The dress is a light ivory color and the fabric is Cartago satin.
