I bought the Paola Gown from Lola Varma for my wedding in January 2025. It was the perfect style of dress for me with the simple sheath slip with the sheer organza overlay which made the v-line of the back so much more beautiful and the slight train making the dress feel light and elegant. The size 10 was customised to more of a size 8 in the top and size 10 in the bottom.
I wore the dress for the ceremony and early part of the evening (6 hours) then changed into a fun dancing dress later. I had the dress professionally dry-cleaned in Melbourne immediately after the wedding, the slip is in excellent condition and the overlay only has some slight discolouration on the hem of the train and a few small scuff marks. I did not wear fake tan and there are no makeup or grass stains on the dress.
I live in regional town that is not convenient for selling the dress, so I have arranged to have the dress with my mother in Sydney for anyone who is interested in trying the dress on.
