Alterations

  • Skirt hemmed to suit my height (I was 165cm in height with a low heel at the time);
  • Long train removed;
  • Nude bra cups added to bodice;
  • Straps may also have been adjusted slightly to fit my body (I'm unsure!)

The 'Willow' wedding dress by Australian bridal designer Made With Love is a dreamy, romantic gown featuring a sheer V-neck French lace bodice and a flowing, full skirt made of 11 (yes, 11!!) layers of soft tulle.
Features to note:
- Comfortable and elegant
- Ordered without a side slit - Lace top and tulle skirt are both so soft (not itchy!) - Skirt is quite heavy due to the many tulle layers - the top is feather light in comparison
- No 'hoop' underskirt needed, it stays in shape and flows beautifully when walking and dancing - From a pet and smoke free home
- Gown comes with its original dress bag and hanger (and its original postage box) as well as a long veil made of the same tulle (if wanted!).

I had the dress professional cleaned through the designers, 'Made With Love', straight after my wedding, and have had the dress boxed up until today.

It's still in wonderful condition, as it was on our wedding day. Will just need a steam to softly straighten the tulle skirt again after being stored.
