About the Dress

Vintage Couture Silk A-Line Wedding Dress with Cathedral Train & Veil

There is only one dress like this in the world. And for the right bride, that will mean everything.
This gown was worn once —
This gown was commissioned from a small, exclusive couture boutique in one of the country’s most prominent cities — the kind of atelier that takes on only a handful of brides each year, the kind where your dress begins as a conversation and ends as a work of art. From the first sketch to the final hem, this gown took six full months to bring to life. feel. The silhouette is classic, timeless, and very “old money” bridal: an A-line shape, short sleeves, V-neckline, full skirt, and dramatic cathedral-length train.
The fabric is 100% Dupioni silk — with detail that will stop you.. Thousands of small, elongated, iridescent beads cover the entire bodice and trace all the way around the hem. Every single bead was hand-sewn individually. Not applied in sections. Not machine-finished. Each one placed by hand, one at a time, over months.

This dress is not a designer’s production run or sample where multiple identical dresses exist and it was never a standard size on a rack. It was created to be one of a kind. The quality is unsurpassed.

For the ceremony: a cathedral-length train — long, dramatic, exactly what a walk down the aisle should feel like. For the reception: the cathedral train detaches to leave a perfect low back length veil. Cleanly and effortlessly the dress transitions into a full toe bustle, giving you two completely different looks within one extraordinary gown. A dual-layer cathedral veil is included.

I wore this dress once. Then I gave it the care it deserved.
This dress was professionally cleaned and preserved after the wedding and has remained sealed in its preservation box since. Because the box is sealed, I am happy to provide photos or video of the preservation box and any visible documentation to serious buyers.
Included:
• Wedding gown
• Dual-layer cathedral (this layer is removable) veil, formal above elbow white gloves
• Preservation/storage

Important note:
This is a preserved vintage couture gown, not a current-season designer sample. It is best for a bride who wants something rare, classic, formal, and one-of-a-kind rather than a mass-produced dress. The gown has not been altered since being preserved.
