This classic and refined gown is a part of the Design Your Gown Collection at Karen Willis Holmes.

The fabric (cotton silk twill) is minimal and clean but slightly luminous which photographs beautifully and looks radiant against glowing skin. The shape is classic and pared back, but the gown carries an entrance, owing to the stunning train. I selected a belt for this gown with a classic Chanel bow detail. I wore silver/chrome metallic points - simple and modern.

I wore this gown on the most sparkling, warm, loved-filled day of my life. I have the most incredible memories of our wedding day and hope to be able to pass on this beautiful gown to another bride-to-be!

I had this dress altered to fit me (no surprises there!), mainly with a shortening of the straps, a nipping in on the waist and a few cms let out on the hips. I also had bust inserts sewn into the gown.
