Nothing like shifting the season and the venue to throw your best laid plans out the window. I purchased this dress at a sample sale at Kleinfeld in December 2025 when I thought I was getting married in the spring of 2026 in Jamaica. Plans changed and I’m now getting married in New York City in Fall 2026. Completely different venue. Totally different vibe.

The dress is truly stunning! I mean it when I say nothing prepared me for how beautiful it was in person and the minute I tried it on I was instantly in love.

The gown is in good shape. It’s ready to wear at a bridal size 6 with no alterations. I’m 6 feet tall, 165 pounds, with a 34D chest. The dress fit snuggly. The construction is both forgiving and incredibly strong, but I am probably the largest person to fit into it without alterations.

The corset back closes with heavy-duty eye hooks that hold firmly. There’s also a built-in bodysuit that extends from the corset and sits concealed beneath the skirt, creating structural integrity throughout. The dress stays in place without feeling restrictive.

This dress was a Kleinfeld sample, meaning it was tried on many times before I purchased it so it carries the honest wear of a beloved and highly professional showroom piece. Functionally, it is completely sound: the construction, corset, built-in bodysuit, and closures are all in excellent working order. Cosmetically, there are signs of wear consistent with its sample history.

No makeup stains, no spills, no outdoor exposure from my use. Not professionally cleaned, which is fully reflected in the asking price.
