Nothing prepared me for the Bloom in person. I'd seen the photos and videos on LPG's website and Instagram, but the moment I put it on I understood why this gown commands its price (retail: $12,500). The layers of glittery tulle create an almost impossible amount of sparkle and depth. Paired with the lace floral appliqué and the form-fitting bodice, each element works individually and together in a way photographs simply cannot capture. This was the dress of my dreams and so much more breathtaking in person.

This gown was ready to wear at a bridal size 6 with zero alterations on a 6'0" frame (34D). The construction is both forgiving and incredibly strong.

The features no one talks about: The official description mentions the sweetheart neckline, tulle train, and embroidered sleeves, but leaves out the two details that made me feel completely confident all day. First, the corset back closes with heavy-duty eye hooks that held firmly. Second, there's a built-in bodysuit that extends from the corset and sits concealed beneath the skirt, creating structural integrity throughout. The dress stayed in place all day without feeling restrictive.

Condition: Worn once, indoors only. Not professionally cleaned, which is reflected in the price. There are a few small tears in the train and the underside of the train shows the most signs of wear, but neither is glaringly obvious. No makeup stains, no spills, no outdoor exposure. The detachable sleeves were never worn.
