About the Dress

Vivienne Westwood signature 'Galaxy' gown with a detachable cape. It's made from organic silk-chiffon and satin and has a sculptural, strapless bodice reinforced with wireless cups and internal boning.

Factory size 10. The only alterations made were to add a small belt on the inside of the corset (which could be adjusted or removed entirely). Given the intricacy of the corset my seamstress did not open up the corset to maintain the structural integrity. No alterations to the length - I am 5"10 and wore the Jimmy Choo Saeda heel (3.9") and the dress hit right at the floor. Also added dettachable Vivienne Westwood mid arm straps which are easily removed by buttons. I removed mine after the ceremony for a different look.
