Vera Wang Velvet Roses (2G144) is a stunning fishtail wedding gown fashioned from Silk Charmeuse. Cut on the bias, the double faced fabric skims the body, the weight and sheen evoking a sense of old Hollywood glamour.
The halter neck is made from English tulle which ties under the bust and around the waist creating a soft bow with long tails which compliment the train beautifully.
The gown is fastened at the back of the neck using hook and eye clasps which are hidden under 3 velvet roses.
Purchased from the Vera Wang flagship store in Mayfair and professionally dry cleaned by Lewis and Wayne in Chelsea. Comes with original dress bag and hanger.
No alterations were made to the size or length of the gown. The only thing added were loops and buttons (concealed in the train) which allow the gown to be bustled for dancing.
I am 167.4 cm tall and wore a 70 mm Louboutin heel and the length was perfect.
