After trying on crazy expensive dresses that I didn’t love and didn’t feel like me, I scheduled a solo trip to Anthropology just to see. I feel like the designers Anthropology uses take more risks for style than the typical bridal salons, but for more than half the cost. This ember dress was my dress the second I put it on. It fit my aesthetic and the venue vibe, it was in an arboretum, at an old house. I still get compliments on my dress and my look, months later. I will tell you cheaper doesn’t mean less, this dress embodies old world elegance with some modern style.

I wore flats that I got off of Etsy, they were an ivory lace pointed toe flat. If you are 5’7 and interested in those let me know happy to throw those in!

I would say this started as a 6, and was taken in to somewhere in between a 6 and 4
I wear a 34c bra size, and the original 6 was too big for my chest and my waist
I am slightly curvy so the bodice sits on my hips snug enough to not feel like it’s falling but not too snug so I was comfortable
