The most incredible and flattering Vivienne Westwood Galaxy Cape gown with Charming Roses embroidered cape. It has the classic galaxy cape sculpted scoop neckline boned corset and gorgeous draped skirt.
I loved that this was a more unique version of such a classic dress. The rose embellished fabric is SO beautiful (and I haven’t seen anyone else with this dress before).
The dress was bought from The White Gallery and was only worn for a few hours during the ceremony and start of reception. It has been professionally dry cleaned.
Alterations were done by Elite Alterations (she’s amazing and Vivienne Westwood sponsored part of her fashion degree).

Condition
- Used - Minor flaws or wear
- Dry cleaned
- Satin fabric
- Slight marks from wear on the inside lining of the corset/ sleeves (these aren’t visible from the outside)
- Tiny pull in the back hem of the corset- this is covered by the cape
Alterations
- All alterations were done by the amazing Elite Alterations (she’s amazing and was sponsored by Vivienne Westwood during her fashion degree)
- Hem shortened to fit height of 6ft (I’m 5’8” and my heels were 4 inches)
- Bust draping altered to be slightly more modest, can be undone
- Corset taken in a few cm at the waist and bust to fit a UK 10/12
- Removable sleeves were added on poppers, they can be worn on or off the shoulder or removed completely for the classic look
- Small hooks added to cape hem so that it could be worn at the waist as a train (picture 3), it can still be worn as a cape- I just liked having different options!
