Thanks for visiting my page and congratulations on your engagement! What a fun adventure you have ahead of you. We got married in Red Hill at the end October and it really is the best day of your life. The dress was one of my favourite things about our wedding... It was a combination of everything I dreamed of. Feminine, delicate lace, flowing train, fun, modern and the organza pieces like in a Hayley Paige gown. I couldn't believe the compliments I received about the dress. Even a guest who works in a bridal gown boutique told me it was one of the nicest dresses she'd seen and it would sell like hotcakes.

I designed the gown with the lovely ladies at Karen Willis Holmes on High St, Armadale. We created a bespoke dress with the DYG (Design Your Gown) collection. It was perfect for my big day and I truly hope it is your dream gown too! It seems such a waste to sit in my wardrobe until the end of time.

It's made up of the:
Abbey Bodice (Size 7) - Bustier bodice with crinoline base in nude ivory lace overlay finished with buttons
Joni Skirt (Size 7) - Organza circle skirt finished with wide crinoline hem, four layers of tulle under the organza
Selena Skirt Add Ons - Individual layers of the train sewn into the skirt. Organza circles with web hem (2x Small, 2x Medium)

I also had the hem at the front altered to create a high-low finish leaving the train to flow out the back. The Selena pieces added a fun texture to the skirt. I had a bustle for the reception (last picture). It comes clean in the original Karen Willis Holmes bag with the emergency repair kit (that I didn't need). Note that there is a hole in the lining that can be easily repaired.

I'm 159cm and wore 8cm heels.

It's currently with Syndals Bridal Dry Cleaners being hand cleaned. I expect it to be ready for collection and it's second loving home early December.
