The Dress

The Blanc gown was launched this year by Grace Loves Lace and is from their latest BLANC collection.

This dress is absolutely beautiful to wear! The combination of cable stretch lace and chantilly lace is stunning and incredibly comfortable at the same time. I felt sophisticated and beautiful in it and had so many compliments on the day and beyond.

I wore the dress for 6 hours and it is in immaculate condition.

The gown is a size 10 but you could be an in-between size (9 or an 11) and still fit into this dress, it is very giving due to being a stretch lace.

Designed for the modern Grace woman who appreciates fashion like a work of art, the Blanc gown begins with a flattering high neck collar with a 5-button back closure. The structured neckline is balanced by elegant, panelled full-length sleeves and a statement open back. The silhouette of our Blanc gown is finished with a semi-fitted skirt with side splits and a scalloped lace trim.

Tile print lace: 70% Nylon, 30% Polyester
Stretch French lace: 89% Nylon, 8% Elastane, 3% Viscose
Cable design stretch lace: 60% Nylon, 40% Polyester
French Chantilly lace: 100% Nylon
Stretch lining: 80% Nylon, 20% Elastane

I had the front hem taken up 1cm to accommodate my smaller heels than previously planned, but left the back longer which was nice as the dress floated at the back.

I also had the arms taken in 0.5cm which made them nicely fitted rather than creasing easily.

The side split was lower than it shows on the model in GLL photos which was nicer for me, but you could alter either way.
