I absolutely loved my wedding dress—the Fleur de Lis by Monique Lhuillier, a dropped-waist lace gown with the most exquisite detailing. For photos and the ceremony, I wore it with a matching drop-waist jacket featuring stunning beading on the back and sleeves. Some guests couldn’t even tell the jacket was a separate piece. Later, I removed the jacket and added the coordinating detachable straps for the reception and dancing. The straps were incredibly flattering—square shaped and angled slightly inward at the shoulders to beautifully framed the neckline. I didn’t wear the dress strapless, but it definitely can be if that’s your preference.
