Alterations

  • Dress was ordered as size 44 to fit my bust - dress was altered to come in at the bust and waist to fit my body measurements
  • This was taken from the back either side of the zipper
  • Train was reduced to be a "puddle" train (minimal length but still flows with the dress) still keeping the bustle
  • Dress length was also cut to suit my height (171cm) + 10cm shoe heel - with this change my dress just hovers over the floor when walking
  • The left side (without the split) was brought in slightly to be more straight down to accentuate the draped waist on the other side thus slightly reducing the a-line appearance
