This dress is absolutely stunning. It ended up never being worn, never altered, and is brand new. I'm in love with it although it is no longer needed. I'm typically a size 4-6 although this dress is a size 10. Wedding dress sizes can be a bit funky I've learned.
My plan when I was going to get it altered was to have the slit be a bit bigger and more obvious. It's a bit hidden due to all of the material in the skirt. The ribbing is amazing and gives great structure. Overall (I tried it on twice) a very comfortable dress and I wish I could have worn it but now she's sadly just taking up space.
Originally, I thought the sleeves were a bit obnoxious and as time went on after the purchase I was obsessed. They add such a cute, unique, classy touch although it can obviously be worn and just as lovely without them :)
