About the Dress

This style is still in Theia's current collection. For 2025 it is called Genie, retailing for approximately £2000.

This one from 2023 is called the Jean, after Jean Harlow. And just like her, it exudes 1930s old Hollywood glamour, redefined for the modern bride. The silhouette effortlessly hugs your body, creating a stunning hourglass figure that accentuates your curves in all the right places.

The striking deep V-neckline draws attention to your décolletage while maintaining an air of refined grace, while the deep V-back adds a touch of drama as you walk down the aisle. The luxurious satin fabric in a timeless pale ivory shimmers softly, ensuring you radiate from every angle.

PLEASE NOTE: The dress is still in its garment bag with tags attached, with no alterations. The only thing I did was cut the spaghetti straps as they were too short for me to even try it on when it arrived. Theia then sent me replacement straps in the exact same fabric, which your seamstress will be able to attach and custom fit for you with extra length if needed.

My measurements are 32D [removed] and there was a lot of room around the waist and hips and I would have had this taken in quite a bit if I had worn it. The bust was a good fit, although if you are any bigger than a 32D it might be quite revealing. That said, it is very long, so I reckon there will be a lot of extra fabric leftover (if you are under 6ft LOL) and a good seamstress could easily put an extra bias cut piece on each cup to give a bit more coverage. It would also look fabulous with a lace trim at the bust for more coverage.
