Alterations

• Worn once (obviously) for my March 2025 wedding and has been professionally cleaned with no apparent stains
• This gown was professionally altered to improve support, comfort, and fit while preserving the clean, timeless silhouette of the original design
• Alterations were done at Altered for the Altar in Dallas (TikTok [removed]

• • Height: 5’9” (I did not hem)
• Professional Alterations & Customizations
• • Waist taken in approximately 3/4”
• • Built-in bra cups added for support (easily removable if preferred)
• • Two adjustable interior support bands added (similar to bra straps) to help keep the gown securely in place and create a smoother, more sculpted fit through the waist and back
• • Removable spaghetti straps added with discreet button attachments
• Please Note: One of the removable strap attachments broke after the wedding (my fault!)
• If you would like to wear the gown with straps, it would need a simple repair
• Any seamstress should be able to fix it quickly, and it likely even be an easy DIY repair
• Custom Reverse American Bustle
• A custom Reverse American bustle was professionally added to preserve the clean, smooth appearance of the satin fabric
• Because the fabric has a subtle sheen and can show dimpling, my seamstress designed the bustle using hidden buttons rather than traditional loops, ribbons, or pull points
• The result is a low, elegant bustle that maintains the gown’s silhouette while allowing comfortable movement and dancing
• Two bridesmaids were able to bustle the gown in under a minute with no issues
