About the Dress

Vintage Atlanta Bridal Gown from Impressions Bridal Salon | $3,800 Original Purchase | Satin & Lace Off-the-Shoulder

Richard Glasgow couture bridal gown, purchased new in early 2000 from Impressions Bridal on West Paces Ferry Road in Atlanta. I am the original owner. The designer label was removed after purchase because it irritated my skin

This is a timeless, classic design featuring an elegant off-the-shoulder neckline, delicate lace bodice, structured cap sleeves, and a beautifully fitted silhouette. The lace detailing continues toward the waist in a subtle V-shape, creating a flattering and feminine line.
The gown is made from beautiful, smooth satin with a graceful full skirt that drapes elegantly and moves beautifully. The back features a zipper concealed beneath covered buttons for a polished, finished look.
Bustle
The gown was originally designed with a bustle for the reception. The eye-hooks have since been removed to avoid putting stress on the fabric. Three small bustle loops remain; one loop has torn, which is shown in the photos. A bride or seamstress could evaluate the loops and make any desired alterations.
Condition & Care
The gown is in beautiful overall condition and has been professionally cleaned and carefully stored in a cloth garment bag.
I unfortunately removed the designer label years ago, so I am unable to identify the original designer. The gown was purchased at a reputable bridal boutique in Buckhead and has the beautiful construction and quality associated with a high-end bridal gown.
Sizing / Fit
The gown is pictured on a 5’4” woman who typically wears a traditional size 4. Please refer to the measurements and photos when determining fit, as vintage sizing can differ significantly from modern bridal sizing.
After 26 years, I’m moving and have decided it is finally time for this beautiful gown to find another bride. It is a classic style that has truly stood the test of time, and I hope it will become part of another bride’s special story.
