About the Dress

Selling my elegant, classic A-line and timeless wedding dress with veil, which I designed with an incredible dressmaker in Bondi, Sydney. The dress is 100% dutchess silk (natural white colour) which I hand selected from Tailors fabrics in Melbourne. The two-tier veil was custom made with very soft, Italian tulle to fit the length of the dress.

I'm a size 8 on top (a 10 on the hips), but your hip measurements won't matter as the dress is free-flowing from the waist.

I'm 169cm tall, 71cm at the waist. I'm also an A size bra cup (89cm bust), but the dress would fit a B cup if you had a smaller bust measurement than me.

I wore Loeffler Randall shoes at 9cm high and the dress was floating just above floor at the front, with a lovely train at the back. You could most definately get the dress altered at the waist to be smaller or shorter if desired. If you live in Sydney, I'm sure my dressmaker might be able to do this if you live locally.

I had the dress dry cleaned twice, so it is virtually pristine. There is one tiny mark at the top of the dress (pictured) but it is truly very faint and you can barely see it. It's a reluctant sell, but I figured it's more sustainable to sell the dress and have another gorgeous bride enjoy the 100% natural fabric and incredible workmanship that went into designing and making it.

I wore a tu-tu underneath the dress for volume, which gives the dress extra oomph. I hired this from my dress maker for $100. It's an option if you'd like volume, but also not necessary.

I paid $7,000 for the dress due to the luxe fabric and custom design, and selling at half price.
