Grace Loves Lace, Tara

Selling my gorgeous Tara gown in size XXS/XS (measurements below). This was the wedding dress of my dreams and I absolutely loved wearing it on my wedding day in Santorini. It's extremely comfortable and lightweight, with no boning or zippers which makes it a dream to wear and so easy to get in and out of. I only wore this gown for the ceremony so it's in amazing condition and it's been dry cleaned by wedding dress specialists. It will fit a size 6 or 8 but is a very easy dress to alter.
I would love for another bride to enjoy this dress as much as I did, it's a real showstopper. I absolutely LOVED this dress!

A signature GLL style, the Tara is the perfect simplistic wedding dress, created for brides who loved our iconic Hollie dress, but wanted an elegant, fully lined skirt.

Beginning with a stretch French lace bodice, trimmed with hand cut appliquéd French lace motifs, the Tara gown was designed to highlight the décolletage in the most beautiful way. The bodice is finished with fine spaghetti straps and a statement dipped back, which has become an iconic feature of this beloved GLL gown. The alluring lace torso is perfectly balanced by the chic, fully lined silk chiffon skirt, which flows into a natural train that comes to life with movement.

The Tara gown stretches over the head and down the body, with no need for zips and buttons. In white, the Tara dress has been handmade with a lightweight stretch French lace and features hand cut appliquéd lace motifs. The bodice is finished with fine spaghetti straps and a romantic, dipped back. This simplistic gown has a full-length silk chiffon skirt, lined with a light satin, with a 40cm train.

I had a couple of alterations made to the dress that I truly believe every bride would love. Firstly, a bustle was added to the dress to lift the train up during the reception. The bustle is almost invisible and the dress looks beautiful when it's bustled up. I also had my seamstress sew some bra cups to the dress, they were sewn in perfectly and made a world of difference for me, however these can be easily removed if desired. Lastly, I found that the elastic spaghetti straps that originally came on the Tara dress didn't offer enough support, my seamstress replaced these with white satin spaghetti straps, and ladies trust me when I say this was the best decision I made! These can be seen in the picture with a close up of the dress.
The Tara dress is incredible, but the alterations that my seamstress made really turned this into the dress of my dreams!
