About the Dress

Galia Lahav wedding gown - Fabiana

I bought this gorgeous gown in the London Brown’s bride Sample sale. As soon as I tried it on, it was love at first sight and I immediately made the purchase.
Unfortunately, we have cancelled our wedding and I will not be able to wear it, which is why I am now selling it.

It’s a fabulous gown and I hope that it could make a lucky bride’s day.

A couple of details:
- the dress is not a made to order, but a sample. Meaning, I was able to purchase it for this price, instead of the custom/made to order price which is 10 000£.
- size: it is a sample size. I’m a size 4 and it fits me perfectly on the waist and back.
- the dress is very long so will probably need to be shortened, which will also remove the part in the underskirt that got a bit dark. Some of the flowers have been detached on the straps.
- that said, a couple of alterations will be required, depending on your preferences. My plan personally was to do 3 things:
1- change the under skirt (currently see through/beige) to a white tulle to make the white color of the gown pop shorten the dress
2- add cups to the bust
3- use the flowers that are cut from shortening the dress to replace the ones that have detached on the straps (as you can see in the photos). My other option was to make it strapless. (Also, Galia Lahav quoted 350£ to create brand new straps, if that helps).

I have discussed with a seamstress and the overall cost to do these fixes was around 600£. Meaning I’d have the Fabiana gown for exactly half the price of the made to order.

If you’re a fan of this gown, I hope this could be a cheaper solution for you and I hope you will love it!! Price is negotiable.
