I bought the Winona Mini (PP: $1400 CAD) and Bowie bow (PP: $530 CAD) from Loversland in Toronto for my July 2024 wedding. While I tried on so many beautiful dresses, this is the one that made me feel most like myself. I also liked that the shorter length and detachable bow meant I could change up my look for dancing without buying a second dress. FROM THE WEBSITE: ‘Winona is the ideal modern party dress, perfect for fashion-forward brides who are looking to stray away from the traditional wedding feel.  Winona features a flattering bell-shaped skirt, with thick straps and a fold over the straight, square neckline, giving her a modern 60’s feel. The Winona Mini is a truly versatile piece, allowing brides ultimate customisation and endless styling options. ‘ SIZING AND CONDITION: The dress is a Prea James size 9 (there wasn’t an option to choose 9 in Stillwhite). In every day clothes I tend to wear a US size 6 or 8 in pants and a small or medium in tops. I had the dress and bow professionally dry cleaned by a cleaner that specializes in wedding dress cleaning and preservation. There is one minor spot on the front where the threads in the fabric have tightened upon cleaning leaving the impression of a line that is visible extremely close up.
