I felt so beautiful (and comfortable!) in this handmade Grace Loves Lace "Olive" gown. The fabric is incredibly lightweight, which made it perfect for my summer wedding — even in 85-degree heat. I think it would be stunning for a winter wedding, too, since it has long sleeves.

The open back was my favorite part of the dress — it added a modern, romantic vibe that I loved. I borrowed a long veil to give a bit more volume to the fitted silhouette. The dress fits close to the body, but it’s still so easy to move in. I was able to pin up the train and dance all night long.

I’ve held onto it for over a year, hoping I’d find another reason to wear it because I love it so much. But I think it’s time to let it make someone else feel elegant and joyful on their wedding day.

It was professionally cleaned right after my wedding, so it’s in really good shape. There are just a couple of faint spots on the bottom hem that you’d only notice if you look super closely — no rips or tears. I did not get any alterations as the dress was made to my size and was stretchy and form-fitting. Alterations could be made if needed.
