When I first saw this dress hanging, I had an immediate feeling She was the one. I had tried 20+ dresses and She was so different than anything I had seen before. When I put it on and saw myself in the mirror I got that feeling that everyone talks about when they find "the one"!
The 3D flowers, the 72" train, the beautiful crystal beading throughout the bodice, the unique layers of fabric, the buttons going down the back, the scalloped appliqué at the bottom, the plunging neckline with the translucent sheer fabric to soft focus cleavage... Alterations
- PROFESSIONAL ALTERATIONS:
- This dress was altered to take in the sides of the bodice, waist, top of skirt at the thighs (to make more mermaid-y)
- The tailor did not trim what she took in at the bodice, waist, top of skirt, and thighs, so it could be restored by a professional tailor to its original bridal size 12
- Additionally the length was shortened (I am 5'5” and wore 4 1/2" heels) and a bustle was added
- Some fabric was also taken in just under the booty area to give it a more defined figure - it was comfortable to sit and dance
- The bust was taken in in the middle where the mesh was originally

- My measurements for reference: I am 36 inch bust, 30.5 inch waist, 40 inch hips, a U.S
- size 27 in jeans, M top, C cup
