The Dress

Love my husband but the second best part of the day was this dress! I felt ZERO dress regrets. Thought it went so well with the modern-classic wedding style we had. I wish I could wear it again, so sad to part with it! No cups put into the dress. If you're between a fitted dress and a ball gown, this is it. I wanted the freedom to be able to eat/drink/enjoy myself without feeling self conscious in a tight dress, but also something that showed off my body and I felt like this dress 100% gave me that! Flaws: Minor snags on the edge of bottom of the skirt. No major stains/other issues. I only wore it through dinner before changing into a second dress.

Alterations

Altered the hem and brought the skirt & corset in every so slightly for a snug fit. No cups (not needed because the dress had great structure and boning - but not to the point your suffocating, just feel held in nicely). Added some clasps in the back of corset and skirt to clip the two together in the back once it was on to prevent and skin from showing where the two come together.

Had this tailored by an EXPENSIVE French tailor. She did amazing work.
