The Dress

This beautiful ivory ball gown by Allure Bridals is the perfect choice for if you're looking for a classical princess wedding dress. The dress features delicate lace and is made from luxurious satin material, ensuring a comfortable and elegant fit. The satin skirt has pockets and has a few tulle layers underneath. The dress closes with a zipper and buttons - buttons start at the top of the back and end part way down the skirt. It is dress style 2914 from the Allure Romance collection and includes a matching fingertip length veil edged in lace. It was worn once for my wedding, so it is used.

It's a size 14 and I was a size 10-12 in normal clothes when I got married, for reference. I got married right in the middle of covid, summer of 2020 and never had it dry cleaned afterwards, so it has a couple of candle wax stains on the skirt and some dirt/grass stains on the lower part of the skirt/ hem - please see pictures. Since then, it has sat in my closet in its garment bag. I'm pricing it low (it was originally a $1200 dress) because I know it needs to be cleaned and has light wear - I'm hoping to give someone a good deal and give the dress another fun day to be worn.

Alterations

I had alterations completed by a professional seamstress.
*The dress was hemmed so it fits someone 5'5"-5'6" with room for 2-3in heels.
*Some of the skirt was taken out - it was so full when I bought it I had some of the skirt removed so it didn't need an extra underskirt. It is still quite full.
*Three point bustle was added to the chapel train.
*I had an extra panel put in the back so it isn't sheer on the low back (the panel comes up to the mid back just under the shoulder blades).
