I absolutely loved wearing River on my wedding day. It was very easy to wear and comfortable all day and night, no need to worry about how much you eat or drink. It was so much fun twirling the skirt around. This dress is magical.

I am 155cm tall and wore 9cm platform wedges. I would say I’m normally a size 8, 6 is some instances. The bodice of the dress is fitted but the rest is flowy so it’s mostly the bust and waist you would need similar measurements to myself.

Alterations

Tulle has been removed from the skirt as I found the original dress too full. With some tulle removed this dress has more of a boho vibe and you can actually see the gorgeous pattern of the skirt underneath the tulle. Straps have been altered slightly and silk added to avoid rubbing on the shoulders. The bust area was also tapered in.
